About our audience and community
We reach educated professionals with a passion for travel and a longing to learn more about the world.
Readers are typically over 40 and travel several times a year. As busy professionals, they often combine business trips with solo getaways, family trips or meet ups with friends. They relish trips which really get under the skin of a destination. While they may have loved backpacking in their youth, they now look for higher quality accommodation and experiences. They pursue excellence, whether that’s street food and a hike or dinner in a Michelin-starred restaurant. They are always on the lookout for money-can’t-buy experiences, new places or a twist on somewhere they have been before.
Our readers consume travel content voraciously but are often slightly shy online. We attract professions such as medics, civil servants, military officers and so on whose employers may insist that they do not post personally identifiable information.
Sustainability
Sustainable and responsible travel has always been a core part of our work. As a result of her work with Inside the Travel Lab, King spoke at the High Level EU-China Summit on Sustainable Tourism at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, as well as at a panel for NASA-Hybrid CoE in Helsinki.
